STAGE MEETINGS 2026

21 March to 19 April 2026

Also for 2026 ESTA Italy is pleased to reintroduce Meetings on the stage, a musical review dedicated to string instruments that, since 1996, has offered young musicians the opportunity to perform in prestigious venues throughout the country.

The event is aimed at students from Conservatories, Music Lyceums, Music Secondary Schools, Private Schools and Private Studios, and is open to both soloists that at chamber music groups.

The Meetings on the stage are deliberately designed as a non-competitive exhibitionThis is not a competition, but an opportunity to compare, listen and grow, where young musicians can share their musical experience with peers, audiences and teachers.

In each location there will be a Commission composed of teachers and members of ESTA Italy, which at the end of the performances will offer each participant a constructive and detailed opinion, with the aim of enhancing and developing individual potential.

Participants who particularly distinguish themselves, on the recommendation of the Commissions, will be invited by the ESTA Italy Steering Committee to take part in the National Review of Young Instrumentalists in Arco, which will be held Saturday 16 May 2026 in Bologna.
