This conference presents research on the relationship between global body coordination and the violinist's fine gesture, showing how posture, bow movement and sound quality are part of a single body–instrument system.
Through the physiology of music, biomechanics, pedagogy and injury prevention, new perspectives will be proposed for teaching and studying the violin in a more conscious, effective and sustainable way.
